helpmates scam
sometimes a scam has its uses…………i got back from chippenham to be greeted with the usual collection of rubbish and interesting post, one thing was a leaflet from ‘helpmates’ asking for unwanted clothes, textiles cosmetic, etc etc .
clothing would be sent to third world countries. it did say it was a commercial company but that it provided jobs in the recipient countries sorting the clothes.
excellent , i thought , i shall have a clear out of all the things i had when i was so underweight caring for himself……definitely never going to be that slender again………….i am now made of 80% chocolate…………
gather together 6 carrier bags of things, put it out on my door step at 7.30 a.m.
then i think to myself ” i don’t like the way it says god will reward you for your good hearts” there was something about that sentence that made me feel greatly put off.

exposing nasty scam
got all the bags off my doorstep and will be visiting my local charity shops with them later…….trouble with that is i end up buying more things i don’t need, can’t resist charity shops
