there i was ‚digging this hole
there is a hole at the end of the driveway, it has been there nearly a week.…..i have been waiting for 22 months for Scottish water to join up the pipes put in by Tom the builder… to the water mains thus bypassing the old lead pipes that have been here for over 100 years.
there is no sign of anything happening to join up the water or to fill in the hole again, it seems they do the bit on the path, then they join up a bit of pipe, then they dig half way across the road . join up and fill in hole then do it all over agin on the other side of the road…seems a bit palaver to me.
meanwhile they told me they were not going to dig it , so i didnt get my car out..then they dug it anyway so after a few days of not going out i eventually had to to get food for both me and visitors.……Abby and JJ coming too…so i got the car out with great difficulty, bought lots of food.….…..then scraped the side of the car on the gatepost trying to get back in.grr!!
my quiet life has been anything but quiet,quite noisy in fact, small grandsons came to stay, then large grandson came to stay now small ones are staying and so are their parents,then quiet for a week till they all come back during the great house move.
so you can see why i don’t blog much..who wants to hear all about grandchildren.
