09">of september 09

today I painted the garage floor for the third time in three days, it now looks good enough to eat off, if fact i might not put the car in there ‚just use it as a photo gallery.

lady-at-worklast week i informed the builders that i was about to have a nervous breakdown.….…well they have been here for approx 18 weeks and i am a person who likes to be alone, so they have suddenly got a move on. .….though the rain was not their fault, nor was the window manufacturers having swine flu and the plumber hurting his back. but now we should be in the final clear up…hence my ‘taking over’ my new garage, and building my wardrobes in the bedroom and making up the bed.
they have at last started to replace the stone gate post knocked down by one of the delivery lorries.…..they are excellent builders though and are doing a superb job.

feeling better though at long last after that virus, though i have developed a very husky voice, and i have only ever smoked one cigarette. yuk yuk yuk !!

back again

drink has been taken.….….…i think it was a conspiracy between him upstairs and Basil’s cousin Rosalyn to get me out and about again after this vicious virus that had me feeling washed out for three weeks’ a son in law had a diagnosis of swine flu and i had been there an with the same symptoms so perhaps it was that any way. tonight we went to 1901 , our local pub, where they were having a Cuban night and it was superb , the food was great as they have a restaurant attached and there was a demo of salsa so i got to learn all the bits i had forgotten and missed due to ankle break.
anyway i am without voice due to a.the virus and b . the trying to make my ‘bon mots’heard above the music.

the builders are still around after approx 18 weeks, yesterday i informed them i was having a nervous breakdown so they suddenly got a move on.….it is not their fault though as swine flu held up the windows and rain held up the patio and all the extras that i kept coming up with held them up further. yesterday they started to put up the gate post they knocked over all those weeks ago, photos will appear when i am sober.

bugged

well i don’t know what it was but it laid me low for ages, might have been visiting cemetery on what would have been our wedding anniversary that left me low enough to be caught by a bug , but what ever it was i am just getting over it now, .

09 09 09 09÷09÷09

I am down in chippenham again boy sitting, drove down yesterday taking photos all day starting at nine minutes and nine seconds after nine a.m. so the the photo would be at 09 09 09 09÷09÷09 .…him upstairs can just be seen at eh middle upstairs window checking time. then I took more photos all way down M6, M5 and M4 till i took a final one at 9 — 9 p.m.….well that was the plan but was too busy gossiping with Nicola that it was 20 minutes past nine when i finally remembered to take photo.….….it is dark so much earlier down here.

so when i left Glasgow the house was swarming with builders and when i arrived here the front another building sitegarden had been dug up for landscaping, like mother like daughter i thought.
my builders were held up by the fact that it was the wettest August for 60 years so the bricklayers couldn’t brick lay and the garden couldn’t be finished off. then of course everything stopped while hallway was repaired.….….while on that subject , hats off to Cosmo ceramics of Glasgow, i had gone in ( while feeling ill) and got sample tiles all of which looked wrong when i looked at them in situ, but as i was by then feeling really rotten i did not return them in the 7 days allowed it was in fact over two weeks later but they accepted them back no problem.
the builder laughed at the light i had chosen , so i dragged him along to the lighting place to choose better ones and where we then bought more of the same as they had ‘grown’ on him.

Nicola and i are feeling sick in the morning, that usually means there is a close member of the family expecting an ‘event’ …or perhaps we have the same bug, though how we could have the same bug 400 miles apart i don’t know. i await to hear interesting news from a female member of the family who will be in shock.
