two visits a dinner and feeling ill

One would think that as i know this temerature i am spiking is caused by stress that it would disappear once i had worked it out.….….….not so.
this one must be brought on by the visit to the cemetry as it is just like it was two yeas ago and what it was like when he had various life threatening operations.
birthday-posti have spiked thes very high fevers all my life, my father a doctor had it all investigated and came to the conclusion that it was attention seeking, we would attend Grenham House school sports days where, my brother was a boarder,he would be running abour being athletic.….yes even at 9 yrs old.….…an i would be semi comatose under a tree causing consternation amongst the other parents.….….…i have survived thus far so it was probably all right.
meanwhile i am burning up , which is a nuisance as i have things to do.
but before it got too bad i spent a lovely couple of days in london at the langdon school charity dinner , then a couple of days in chippenham as young Aiden has reached the great age of 5.
can’t write more.

Irvine dragon and brainiac science abuse

tonight , grandsons Peter, Cameron him upstairs and i went to Irvine to see Brainiac live..it was good fun and you needed young people with you
.….….…the best laugh of the night was when i
said to Peter “did Aunty Nicola know who was on the phone ?” and he said he
had introduced himself as wee Pete.….… as he seems to be about 6ft and had a deep deep voice ‚
him upstairs and i went into hoots of laughter. Peter was phoning her to let her know brainiac was going to be in Bristol in march as they had been wanting to go.

Brainiac was good ‚vaguely pantomime– ish and having seen it we thought Nic might enjoy it
better in the company of the boys when they are about 6 or 7, i.e little
science and a lot of bangs, good fun though.
.….……

having totally got the time it would take us to get there ..well i thought snow might be a problem.…..we arrived very early so we went in search of the Irvine dragon, and had good fun sand dune surfing.….…… jolly cold though. then we ate fish and chips out of paper in the car.….…we could have sat in the fish restaurantbut it was fun to do it like that.…all part of the evening

This morning Cameron and i went up to the cemetery to say hello to Himself .….…it was two years ago today he died.….……he is far from forgotten

snow what snow

the whole country seems to be at a standstill because of the snow, except my wee bit of glasgow where there is only about 2 cm, even the salsa class was cancelled .

do not be worried , i have not become addicted to the auction site :-) ), having watched a camera go up a penny at a time all day i decided it was even less exciting than watching paint dry. wish i had invented the site though, they must make a huge amount on each item.

had a nice lunch out today with two people called Myer Solomon and one called Rosalyn

lurking in the necropolis

tomb with a view

tomb with a view

Damb fine custard tart served in Tinderbox , Ingram street.…..but to get to it first i had to meet up with several members of queens park camera club at dusk then walk up into the Glasgow Necropolis.……a place of great spookiness after dark and often seen in Taggart episodes accompanied by the line. ” therrs been a murrdurr surr “.

it will be interesting to see what different pictures we all took, heavens knows what the people wandering about .….…..yet there were people wandering.…among the tombstones, thought we were up to. sometimes we draw a small crowd thinking we are paparazzi and that somebody famous is going to appear, only to be disapointed when we all nip into the nearest cofee shop for coffee and cake.

it was cold and i thought my hands would freeze and one o the guys ofered me his gloves which was kind but i dont like gloves and my hands were soon warm and pink, probably due to all the excersize clambering up and down among the tombs.
