not a lot

I have just been ‘watching ’ a radio play on my television, not entirely sure why they have to put a film on television for a radio play, i usually listen to it on my little television as it is linked up to the security cameras ‚all very strange.
Ihave been neglecting my blog but have been doing all sorts of useful things like throwing away hundreds of bits of paper and tidying my wardrobe.

him upstairs suddenly phoned down as said we had missed pancake day and as it was now almost Easter we had better got on with it so we did.he thought one pancake-day.jpgwould make a great facepack.

am trading my car in for a new upgraded version of the one i have.….well it needs a wash.….….….…the new one parallel parks all by itself while i sit there pretending i am doing it.….……actually it is the one thing i can do really well but i did bump into a very low bollard recently damaging my rear end.….….….i heard that comment.… i was going to get the demo car ( a pretty blue colour) but i left ti too late and missed? it but as they gave me? a better trade in against a new one? it was almost the same price .having decided to trade in the car i wanted to use up some of my full tank of petrol so i went to visit a friend in Falkirk.….…bloody car got 58.5 mpg.….it has never got that before, so there is still nearly a full tank.

still learning to salsa, if i get me feet right i don’t get the arms right, will it ever get better, but after Monday’s lesson we went up to town to see tigers on Vaseline again (David Bowie tribute band) they were doing a charity concert so i had a good dance there too , good ‘old fashioned’ twisting.

got haircut yesterday as i was beginning to resemble a highland cow. ate out last night i a Greek restaurant, it was very full of young people mainly girls.….……saw the reason why as we left, there was a handsome Greek footballer who plays for Glasgow Celtic having a meal in the front of the restaurant.….….…a good recommendation a Greek person eating there,

there is a wind getting up , i think i will move the car in Case a tile blows off the roof and messes up my trade in price.

been editing photos for the next competitionyoung-paparazzi.jpg here is one of them.….….….….clicking on the photos makes them bigger

taken to task

cameron1.jpgTaken to task, and shopping by grandson Cameron today.….….….….hows that for an example of zeugma.….….….……i have been neglecting my blog , not due to being away or to ill health or depression but to? an addictive game called? ‘cradle of Rome’? but now i? have gone from peasant to god on mount Olympus so i can get on with life again.

drove up from Chippenham last Sunday it was a beautiful day and a polar something or other was forecast for the Monday and indeed? Monday dawned with? snow.jpgGlasgow and most of Britain under lots of snow.

dealt with lots of paperwork on Tuesday.….where does it all come from.….….…and it is the end of the financial year again in less than a month so the whole thing starts again.

got a bit upset this week? because?? the bank? has at last been informed by the lawyer that one half of the joint account is deceased, that is not what caused me to be upset, it was because i went into the bank and? the teller was very helpful and i got it all changed? over to just me. what suddenly out of the blue set me off was her saying.…..“his name will drop off the statements soon” and? there it was another bit of him gone.

went up to to princess square to see my photo in situ…strange experience to see your own work exhibited.

so Cameron and i went to a new hobby-craft shop this afternoon at ‘the fort’ just off the M8, lots of? craft stuff there i got some? stuff for mounting photos but miller’s art shop is still better for the real stuff.

back from normandy

I am back in Chippenham, tired but happy.….….…the ferry crossing last night was very rough and Nicola and Aiden were very sick. France was a bit cold and dampen-famile.jpg but there was plenty to do.

and we missed the earthquake, Nicola’s neighbours felt their houses shake.….….……i keep missing them , i missed one in Glasgow a few years ago while on holiday ‚though i was there for the last one but it was only a tiny one.

going home tomorrow as the children have generously given me all their germs and i am tired, i really must work on my resistance. and anyway i want to see my photo in the exhibition.….…..i will try to photo it in situ.

got to stop , surrounded by sticky small boys.
