I am home , a sud­den dose of the com­mon cold made me long for my own bed so i drove home yes­ter­day and fell into bed with a? tem­per­at­ure of 101 and a dose of night nurse, feel­ing much bet­ter today,

What a good day today, hav­ing dropped three year old off at ’ tiddlywinks’.……the name of his pre school.….….… we went on a trawl of the local char­ity shops in search of Ses­ame St and Mr. Bean videos for Jonathan ( the very aut­istic grand­son) and i got 5 ses­ame st and one Mr bean, he gets upset with them some­times and they get broken so a stock is neces­sary. also got lots of other inter­est­ing things, like a brand new pair of boots per­fect fit­ting for ?7.99. and two pretty plates and a jig­saw and some puzzle books among other things.

it is frosty and i am feel­ing festive.….….also feel­ing ill as the little darlings have shared their germs with me

well hav­ing recovered from the unex­pec­ted but much enjoyed view­ing of boun­cing dangly bits.….….…well the cast were all dan­cers and supremely fit who couldn’t enjoy the sight.….……i have spent the day in Chip­pen­ham doing a sud­den and unex­pec­ted bit of baby sit­ting, it was use­ful for deliv­er­ing Christ­mas gifts too.

i didn’t buy the chair on eBay hav­ing real­ised it wouldn’t go in my nice Prius, pity it would have been per­fect for the room and was only a few miles from here. never mind the per­fect thing will turn up soon .

the young par­ents have taken the oppor­tun­ity of hav­ing an adult in the house in the even­ing to go to the pub. that is the beauty of liv­ing here everything is within walk­ing dis­tance. there is going to be a heavy frost tonight, brrr.

it is nice being down here away from people.….Nic and Chris don’t count as people.

Dangly bits there were , unex­pec­ted but very nice , haven’t seen any­thing like that for a long time .….….……I am in Lon­don and we went to see Cab­aret at the lyric theatre in the west end.with Julian Clary and the emcee,?( www.cabaret-the-musical.co.uk?)

when all of a sud­den there were naked people on stage, one woman in the audi­ence used her bin­ocu­lars and she was only 4 rows from the stage. it was a good production,much more close to the ori­ginal short stor­ies than the film, hav­ing a dark and power­ful ending.

we are now, at 20 minutes to one in the morn­ing light­ing Hanukkah candles and eat­ing donuts.

i saw snow on the hills today when i was driv­ing down, and the wind nearly blew me across the road.

Well i went up town and watched the? young people ice skat­ing in? George Square a? i wandered round the stalls, they were a bit dis­ap­point­ing but the atmo­sphere was good? and there was a hel­ter skel­ter and? scary round­abouts, i ate the? worst crepe ever, it was tough and too full of brown sugar and not enough lemon juice but the lady who made it for me was? really nice so? the exper­i­ence was good.?and i had? a glass of excel­lent mulled wine.? Some young­sters asked me to take a photo of them which i did? and hav­ing no paper?? to wright their email address on? she put it in my mobile phone but i can’t get? at it , i will have to ask a? small child how to do it

today i col­lec­ted some lovely logs from a free sharer in Len­zie so? when they have dried out they will replace the ones i used to keep warm last week.….….….no more news , i seem to be going to a party this weekend.….….…..this quiet life is get­ting exhausting
