Fiona's Quiet Life

checked out of hotel and went shop­ping in Brent cross, then got a taxi to the OXO tower in the centre of Lon­don where OXO cubes used to be made, just by Water­loo bridge, to have lunch in their bras­serie with son in law and three friends.very eleg­ant , over­look­ing the river. Ian had a meet­ing at 3 so the oth­ers went for a cul­tural trip to Tate Mod­ern and i went on the Lon­don eye,cos i am not cul­tured . the photo of me was taken on my mobile phone by a nice Japan­ese person.…..i hadn’t taken my cam­era as it isn’t cool to go to posh res­taur­ants tot­ing cam­eras. the back­ground is the houses of parliament.

have now moved in with Abi­gail and fam­ily for a day or two. I have severely sprained my ankle and may have a lovely excuse not to clam­ber about damp lake dis­trict hills.

driv­ing down was great but unevent­fully, only a few cara­vans south of the lake district.

small boys were lively and up very early every day , but my care­ful packed three bags were instantly wrong as the weather in Chip­pen­ham which had been very warm up till my arrival turned icily cold and wet, so the lake dis­trict stuff got un packed and worn.we went to a but­ter­fly farm and saw all sorts of creepy crawlys one of which attached its self to Nic­ola and we didn’t see it until the wee boys were play­ing in a the ’ soft play’ area .

I am at the moment sit­ting in a Lon­don garden in a large tent while Esther is doing her Span­ish revi­sion as exams are loom­ing. that is she in the photo.

.there will be more about the Lon­don visit later as i am about to thump Esther who is not doing her revision.….….….…hehehe hahaha hohoho huhuhu?!?!?!? hi im Esther if you think i should not be thumped go here.….….….…!!!!
