hav­ing decided i am very peely wally ( too pale) i applied fake tan, the one that is sup­posed to build up slowly , it smells just as bad as all the oth­ers but at least i am not orange and streaky.….is it just me or does every­body smell hor­rid when using it.maybe my skin reacts to it or something,

11 Year old Cameron has got wire­less broad­band so we are email­ing back and for­wards and i have spoken on the phone to 3 year old Aiden as they are now safely back home in Chippenham.

the sat nave has to be charged up for 8 hours before use but there is only an in-car char­ger with it , so i have to drive for 8 hours before i can use it, for­tu­nately him upstairs recog­nised the car char­ger and got his Motorola char­ger and that has worked fine. and i have loaded maps of Bri­tain into it and all Europe on to a SD memory card, now i have to work out how to actu­ally use it…i hate instructions

there was a national sur­vey today to see what bumble bees were alive and well so i wandered round the garden tak­ing pho­tos i have lots of them.

A won­der­ful day .….i have been the hap­pi­est that i have been for years, a lovely morn­ing with the fam­ily and a walk to visit great granny and a nice walk round the dis­trict, then lunch and drop­ping them off at a Brew­ers Faire to meet all their old friends from the street they used to live in …all young fam­il­ies so the noise level was high so i went to a shop and bought sat­nav for the car. and some other things then re joined them for cof­fee. Chris­topher had to search the car for a 12 volt plug hole it was dif­fi­cult to find, it used to be easy to find one when people smoked but now cars don’t have cigar­ette light­ers it is difficult.

then home for a meal before tak­ing them to the air­port. then came home, and met him upstairs sweep­ing up some dead leaves from his ter­race so we had a bottle of wine and watched a film and he set up my sat­nav for me and i gave him a tree .….…..tired and slightly tipsy now.

there are plastic ‘flip­pin ‘frogs on my floor ( you flip them like tiddly­winks into a tub by press­ing their tails.…yes i know frogs don’t have tails) a Mr silly book is on my bed a soft base­ball bat and a small soft rugby ball all on my bed­room floor small boys are at last asleep , the wee one went to sleep after a bit of fuss but the big one showed no sign of ever being sleepy , even­tu­al­ity told him his ‘tig­ger ’ was very tired so he instantly went to sleep and so did i.….all the fresh air and sun­shine. but i got up and tidied away the even­ing meal etc. their mummy and daddy are out at a wed­ding , Chris­topher resplen­dent in his kilt, Glas­gow uni­ver­sity was look­ing beau­ti­ful today in the sun­shine, it is a beau­ti­ful place for a wed­ding it is where Nic­ola and Chris­topher were mar­ried. almost 11 years ago.
