Fiona's Quiet Life

friends tonight decided that i had hid­den long enough in my room and first came an invit­a­tion to din­ner tomor­row night with fam­ily, i had already prom­ised a daugh­ter i would eat with them next weeek, then another invit­a­tion to lunch came for sat­urday with the fam­ily of very old friends, then another friend vis­ited tonight and tought me how to do soduku which after a bottle of red wine.….….…..well it is good for you.….….…seemed very easy so we did another one which was a bit more difi­cult now i am tired but relaxed for the first time in a long time. there were a few tears as things were remembered but also laughter as other things were thought of. the obit­u­ary was declared very good by all and the hat which he wears in the photo was remembered with great affec­tion , he bought it on a trip to america.

Ah well back into the attic.….…a free­cycler has appealed for old hard­back books for an art pro­ject, and i have lots of them that the char­ity shops refused to take. so up amongst the spiders i must go now.eek !!
he also wants light bulbs, can’t ima­gine what hw is making

hav­ing a bad day today.……reliving his last hours, it is not romantic like in the movies it is awfull. .though the last half hour was peaceful.

wide awake and drink­ing hot chocolate.It a a quarter past two in the morn­ing. there is a young fox bark­ing in the garden but it is not keep­ing me awake, just thoughts and memor­ies, it is two weeks exactly since Abby and i kept our vigil by his bed
