he looked much better tonight.….this afternoon he was a bit sleepy.….…..already his face looks more like him instead of all bloated. the nurses greeted me warmly and fussed over him and those visitors whose family members were still in were kind, but the lovely young man who had been in the next bed died last night of liver damage.
i having got to bed at 3 was woken at 8 by someone asking how he was but that was a lovely long sleep after what i had been getting recently, and i fell asleep between visits this afternoon., so i am regenerating. This time i will sleep as much as possible to store it up for when he comes home again. no more watching television on this computer till the wee small hours.
the hospital is full of lost visitors, on his floor there are four wards. ward 3, ward. 6 , ward 10 and ward 17 where is the logic in that. and it is built on a hill so if you go in at the main door you have to go up 5 floors in a lift then go in search of another lift to go the other two floors E and F but if you go in at the other entrance you climb one flight of stairs to get to the same floor F. but is going to be turned into apartments soon, as a nice shiny new hospital is being built of the site of basil’s old school just across the road .…i hope they remember to build in a couple of floors of car park.
