Clutter, Clutter Everywhere

been putting insulating stuff under the rug in the spare room what a difference it makes, had been putting it off due to painful hip and having to move large bits of furniture. the kitchen is a mess because the contents of the attic are all over it and the hallway is a mess because it is full of things waiting for freecyclers to come and collect them and empty cardboard boxes. the dining room table is covered in bits of paper that i am supposed to be dealing with and the lounge is full of Christmas decorations liberated from the attic and untidily spilling from various boxes, this time i promise i will put them away properly on 12th night. the bedroom is untidy because i am naturally untidy.

i have vetoed any more watching of films as he has been having bad dreams about the old days.….….….….and they are boring, the films that is.

youngest baby grandson was one year old today , they went to Bristol Zoo, not as good as Edinburgh Zoo was the verdict. but they had a good day.

Haircut, Sofa Bed and Good Delivery

we , women that is.….….are never happy .….…..today i escaped the house and went to vidal sassoon for a haircut, it was full of women getting their hair done to look just like mine, pale wispy, shoulder length and with out trace of a curl…they were getting it ironed flat, meanwhile i with my pale wispy ‚shoulder length depressingly unwavy hair desperately wanted it changed for something, anything different..it is still pale ‚wispy; uncurled but beautifully cut.

then i went to john lewis and bought a sofa bed as Christmas looms and the house is going to be full so that we can put up 5 of them , i think i may get a matching chair that turns into a single bed as well.….and at last i have seen a fridge and a freezer that will fit the space i have for them, now all we need are phones that work and we shall be sorted.

champneys delivered my order today so i am hugely impressed with the speed as i only ordered the items on saturday.and they put in some samples as well, so i get a gift while buying gifts for others.

a good day

Diminished Clutter

charity shops can be so rude.….……What’s in there she says looking at my box full, “nothing electrical we can’t take anything electrical, no books we have too many books.” . etc etc.….….….fortunately my offering was deemed sellable so i was allowed to leave it with them, and of course was tempted to buy a book on the way out even though we have several thousand of the blooming things.

the extent of the problem is visible in the above photo. but i am getting there it is now mostly empty suitcases and bubble wrap…well i like bubble wrap and am unable to part with any.it is left over from my psychotic episode of buying up everything on eBay.……well i did need the things i bought.…..except perhaps the piona number plate. for my car…it is not on my car it is in the wardrobe. Basil has no idea that it is there .…i think i will sell it.

he is hungry i must go

Long Dead Spiders

They may have been long dead but they were large and they were spiders. yes i have been back up in the attic. he was in pain and needed distracting.

it has been a good day today i got a lot of paperwork done on behalf of the ancient parent. since i suddenly realised that letters were still going to her old home and it has been sold. so i have written to tax people and pension people and share registrars and and.…and.

then i went to B&Q to buy draft excluder and other things but accidentally posted my list with the letters so i got all sorts of things but no draft excluder. then went to Matilan saw nothing to buy and was heading for another diy shop when Basil phoned and said he was feeling ill so went home instead.

tonight it has been old books from the attic now he is reading poems by robert service to me.

oldest grand son sent a link to a scary video on youtube.

time to dole out pills now.….….

Asparagus in the Ear

I’m imagining the picture in the paper as you are loaded into the ambulance with the unicycle lodged in one orifice and a piece of asparagus in your ear!

Hmm, with that thought I’m going to bed. Early night in the offing. Perhaps a wee nightcap first.….….

That was my older daughter Marisa’s reaction when i said my ambition was to ride round the new Tesco at Pollock on a unicycle. I told her not to fret as I didn’t think they would let me. She has done her Christmas card’s already !!!

We have hot water -yippee!

They came and looked at the gutter again today .it would be nice if they would actually fix it instead of looking at it.

Nice loss adjuster visited today and offered a sum for hall carpet. it is half the cost of a new one if i were going to buy one but i like the mosaic.…… pic above (with doll’s ballet shoe). now all i need is an expert mosaic fixer.

another day frittered away, shouldn’t have said that to himself, now he feels guilty at keeping me stuck here, thinks i resent it , which i don’t , i just meant i should have been doing something instead of playing with the computer.….….…..like .….…i don’t know.….….. ah well back to computer games.
