Am i approach­ing my life from the wrong dir­ec­tion, why do i have to turn the map upside down to find out where i am.

If Ash­ley wants my Chanel No 19 talcum powder for his wife he should remove his 13 pairs of trousers from my nice mosaic hall floor

decided didn’t need and excuse to buy a chocol­ate foun­tain, so one is on its way, well i look at it this way i shall use it a couple of times and each daugh­ter will use it a couple of items so that makes it cheaper than hir­ing one.

Him­self has admit­ted that he will never fit his 38 in trousers again apart from the fact he never gets dressed. so i have pos­ted 13 pairs on free­cycle and they have been claimed already.….….….……he still has 15 pairs.

today i gave lots of sheets to a lady hav­ing a home birth.…..she was beau­ti­ful , like a tall slender Rus­sian ballerina,

and a young man came to col­lect an old war­time silk para­chute which my mother has used to make blouses after the war (WW2).….……and lots of other odd bit and pieces , he was so proud of his wife’s artistic abil­it­ies, whenever i said ‘could she use this’, he said ‘she can make any­thing into a work of art’.

i asked for an espresso machine as mine was kaput and i thought if i put one in a corner with lots of wee cups dur­ing the party people could make them selves some.….…. so far i have been offered 4 machines and some ground cof­fee to use in them.

And i am being given by another free­cycler 8 videos of the win­nie the pooh type, as i tangled Aiden’s favour­ite one.

my dys­lexia is get­ting sud­denly much worse and words i try to say come out all wrong as well and the pins and needles in parts of my arms and hands also much worse, yes­ter­day a droop­ing left eyelid,interesting col­lec­tion of ail­ments, it has been over 20 years since it was this bad. ah well i think i will get back to clear­ing out the attic now.

Chocol­ates and wine, what more could a per­son need at an 80^th birth­day. have ordered won­der­ful chocol­ates from Lake­land lim­ited. Scot­tish ber­ries in chocol­ate and fruit chocol­ates , have to be so very care­ful about nuts due to Esther and Christopher.

hav­ing to get the wine and chocks in in dribs and drabs so he doesn’t notice. plan­ning the food now. i have the wine glasses and cut­lery can­celed in odd places,probably wont be able to find it come the day. he will think he has driven me to drink if he finds the gin.

Cant think of an excuse for buy­ing a chocol­ate foun­tain. he is not 8.

quarter to one a.m. now and i am tired due to more delving in the attic, and stir­ring up old memor­ies and wounds.

going going gone.….….the stamps have been col­lec­ted , the wool and fab­ric have been col­lec­ted, the rest is wait­ing in the hall. Basil is wad­ing through dozens of old New Yorker magazines from the 1970’s the car­toons are just as rel­ev­ant today; plus ca change.

invites have gone out to rel­at­ives and friends for the upstairs down­stairs party.

Him upstairs is throw­ing a party for his friends and i am throw­ing a sur­prise party for Basil’s 80^th birth­day on the same day so the whole house can join in and if Basil is too ill it can all move upstairs.

i am, under cover of empty­ing the attic wash­ing all the wine glasses and cut­lery and hid­ing it in newly emp­tied cupboards.

i wish they would get on with the bloody French win­dows and the kit­chen floor.

ah well! he has dozed off so i can get some more done.

it is the order­ing of food that i am look­ing for­ward too.
