fire hydrants , small boys and hot weather are mis­chief wait­ing to hap­pen and hap­pen it did.

nurse messed up the tak­ing of blood test today so i have a hole in both arms.….……8 days wait­ing for a test then 8 days wait­ing for the res­ult, i shall be bet­ter by then.….wish the bloody pain would go though.

got him­self up last night for an hour but he got exhausted. he had two nurses today and only one hole in him for the zoladex jab.

they have prom­ised to start put­ting in the enorm­ously exens­ive double glaz­ing next week, we shall see, it is 10 months since i ordered it,bloody Glas­gow council.

yes­ter­day Great Granny’s nurs­ing home annual garden party , oodles of food, live music .….……jim reeves , wil­lie nel­son and perry como type songs, noth­ing appro­pri­ate to 90 year olds but i enjoyed it., so did great granny .……grudgingly.

today two small boys, a deliv­ery of crop tops for great granny,…don’t ask.….….a deliv­ery of food from tesco, yum yum and a psy­chi­at­ric nurse, who kept telling basil he was severely men­tally dis­abled, i nearly dis­abled her as i have man­aged to keep the demen­tia word from him. but as she is going to save us UKP 600 per year coun­cil tax and get me UKP20 more per week i for­gave her. i have never been so tired a blood test has been ordered by my GP because of my duo­denal ulcer but it is a week till they can do the test and then a week for the results.….….…..i shall have cured it by pos­it­ive think­ing by then.

Smal­lest grand­son ate my flag, second smal­lest grand­son hit him with a squeaky plastic base­ball bat.

second largest grandson’s dia­betes went crit­ical and now he injects insulin 3 times a day. largest grand­son is very athletic.…he doesn’t get it from me!!!

step grand­son phones me up to dis­cuss com­puter games at length.

step grand­daugh­ters have won­der­ful things to say about life in general.and being 12 and 15 in particular.

94 year old mother behaves like a naughty wee girl and squabbles with other wee old ladies.but i am told by her carers that she pirou­ettes beau­ti­fully when she needs to turn round.….….…and so she should she was an ori­ginal blue­bell girl.

i sit here all day keep­ing bed­bound hus­band com­pany, he talks and sings to me while i play spider solit­aire or spend money on ebay, some­times answer­ing ques­tions on yahoo answer, some­times search­ing for elu­sive ancestors.

noth­ing else to say am off for a cup of tea
