him upstairs and his wardrobe
It has been an odd mixture these last three days.??Saturday ?night found me helping him upstairs with his wardrobes , the? boxes containing them were delivered some time ago and he demolished his old one?
but had not got round to? getting the new one in so? we set about it on Friday evening, got one bit up perfectly but got stuck on the corner cupboard so? off we went to Ikea to photograph the way they had done it and? it was noting like the? drawings in the instruction? leaflet. by which time we were hungry and ikea’s restaurant was closed? so we went to xscape and had a Chinese buffet? sitting at a window overlooking the indoor ?ski slope ( real snow).? went back put the corner one together then gave up and watched a video of ’ The Great Labowski’ excellent film. his dogs fought over toys
and got in the way
He got his friend Allan to help him yesterday? as i? was having lunch in the peoples palace?
winter garden with? Clair and Chris,
scrummy baked potato, wonderful daft? museum is the peoples palace excellent for children as they do not frown on? touching things.
glad Allan was doing the work? as they were stuck when i got back a 4 p.m. due to the house being a wee bit squinty with age, but they fixed it and? him upstairs cooked some? supper and i brought the wine. there are no doors on his wardrobes yet .…that may be tonight’s job.
i have been so busy mourning my Basil that i hadn’t got round to mourning my mother, then suddenly yesterday? i got deeply upset and had a good cry.
today i braved the post office queues and the minus? 1 temperature to post off the last of the presents, so feeling virtuous. now all i need is the aftermath of this cold to get better? and all will be well.
