Great Granny unwrapping her haul today. I nipped across while he was asleep but someone phoned up and woke him so it was a short visit,
I am zombiefied due to Basil ‘s blood sugars being erratic and reaching 31 .….should be 5.… in the middle of the night. the last two nights have been sleepless apart from 3 ten minute sleeps two nights ago and 2 one hour sleeps last night. I am glad the babies are with their other grandparents today even though i miss them .
nevertheless a turkey is in the oven .….it took me half an hour figuring out how to work the oven as i haven’t used it since the fire, and i have parboiled my parsnips.. so the house is smelling festive.i shall be eating it for the duration as he is not hungry i need to find out why his blood sugar is so high when he is hardly eating anything, all his doctors say to me is , “you are doing very well, well done” which is not a lot of help but i know there is nothing they can do as they have tweaked all his meds as much as possible.
I am cheerful.
