reflection
I am looking more and more like my mother every day, it is a shock to catch sight of myself reflected in shop windows.…..that photo of a swan is apropos of nothing i just happened to take the pic on a walk in the local park this week.
still feeling ill , no idea what it is but it is time it fixed itself i have things to do.
I was convinced i would not like it, i bought it and left it lying , then i played it once and thought , that is too raw. then i put Neil diamond’s latest CD ‘home before dark’ on and played it constantly for three days …it it great , one of his best , it is mature and tells a story of a life.and the songs have a relevancy to the lives of many of older people who have lived a bit.
