i was at the camera club on Thursday, and after the interesting talk by the curator of the Glasgow museum of modern art, while we were having our tea and biscuits, one of the members said .….…..did you read the article in the times it was spooky” all about a man going to Cuba and not getting laid. the member of the camera club had been reading my blog.:-)
heard some great , and nice clean , jokes for trick or treaters tonight.….….we call them ‘guisers’ in Scotland.….… forgotten the jokes now but they made me laugh out loud. was in Mandors the wonderful fabric shop in town today and it was full of people buying fabric to make disguises for tonight, they said their shop in Edinburgh was quiet, so not fun for the edinbuggers then.
sauchiehall street was busy today in the winter sun. i had lunch with old school friend Sheena in the pipers tryst hotel.
.…attached to the bagpipe school.….……the meal sound strange but was really really tasty.….…..it was a scotch pancake. with a circle of crisp black pudding on it and some smoked haddock on top and it was sitting in the usual haddock milk sauce our grannies used to make but thicker. yum yum
