Basil’s stone setting
Quiet reigns.….…grandchildren off to visit Edinburgh.

Yesterday was an emotionally exhausting day, there were about 50 people at the service and i remembered how Basil loved to count the people at things , I know he would have been pleased by the turnout for him. the service was fairly short and then most of the people came back to the house for food there was almost a party atmosphere by then,those that hadn’t been watching the changes I had made to the house were ‚I think, favourably impressed. while it was a sad day it was also a good day and felt like a party for Basil especially the grandchildren and great-nieces were livening things up.….there is a lot of food left, 
?Nathan helping with the leftovers,I have to get it all eaten by Thursday when i drive south on the first leg of the great Grand Canyon challenge.
