i have succeeded in astonishing my husband after all these years of marriage,
party great success, friends from his school days and favourite cousins all turned up and seemed to be having a great time. he even got up and sat for a while ‚holding court in the dining room. his friends were mesmerized by the loop of 198 photos of them and him in their youth. and the caption competition photos i printed out were very revealing. The above photo is one i printed with a word baloon coming out of his mouth. all my guests visited the upstairs flat and all his visited us and in fact they were the last to leave this party having taken up residence in the dining room.
the parable of the feeding of the 5000 seems to have its modern day equivalent last night as i tried to get the leftovers back into the fridge. fortunately my younger daughter and two wee grandsons came and helped us to eat some today.
i am off to load the dishwasher again.
