Fiona's Quiet Life

It was the ’ great Scot­tish run ’ today i live at the five kilo­metre mark, three guys had dropped out with injured feet, this guy was look­ing very shivery so i got him the rug i snuggle under on cold winter evenings.….….or while watching scary films. there were two races on today , a half mara­thon and a 10k.…side streets were full of peeved drivers try­ing to get to church.

i have been work­ing very hard today mak­ing the wee flat that my mother had ready for going on the mar­ket tomor­row .my house was get­ting tidy and is now as bad as ever with her things all over the place.… for those won­der­ing how i still have a flat to sell when i sold one at the begin­ning of the year it is like this.….….….

she lived quite a dis­tance away and it was impossible for me to look after her and basil at the same time so i bought a little two room flat for her just up the road from here and she was fine there for a while until she was too unsteady to be on her own , then she went into a nurs­ing home, i haven’t got round to selling that flat because i was too busy look­ing after Basil and too tired to even think. so now i am get­ting a grip on all these wee prob­lems as it is cost­ing me a lot to main­tain it what with the insur­ance and the factors fees.….we have just had to fork out ?1000 per owner for the out­side wood­work to be painted.….…at least they have let me off coun­cil tax till i get it sold.

still got a lot of paper­work to do but i am get­ting there.
