so, what’s been happening.….….…too much and noth­ing at all, still sit­ting here keep­ing gently demen­ted hus­band com­pany .….…..clear­ing the attic of everything because he wants to look at pho­tos of his mis­spent youth.

he had me find an ex girl­friend of his from 60 years ago on the inter­net .….…“i can’t talk long just now” she said” my hus­band is expec­ted to die today”.….….…he did 2 days later.

they have been catch­ing up on 60 years since,

he wants me to get in touch with another one but she has a psychotic hus­band so i don’t think i will. espe­cially as she chose a rich man rather than him which makes her in my estim­a­tion a *****

have been giv­ing away the con­tents of the attic on freecycle.my ancient fur jacket is appear­ing on stage in Guys and dolls being worn by an act­ress play­ing a well dressed prostitute.

bags of stamps are going to the Marie Curie nurses

photo albums , books,sewing machine, threads, wool all sorts of things all given away.

trouble is people keep giv­ing me things as well like mil­lions of books and a book shelf.

new win­dows lovely but they still haven’t put in the french win­dow in the bed­room it is now a year since i ordered it.

kit­chen floor still not fin­ished since fire in Janu­ary BUT i have at last after 6 years grasped the nettle and got round to con­tact­ing an estate agent about ancient par­ents flat ‚now i need a skip and some burly ment to fill it.….…not with burly men but rubbish.

excite­ment mounts as invites have gone out to friends and fam­ily to a sur­prise 80^th birth­day party for bed bound husband.to take place as a joint party with the upstairs half of the house if he is too tired it will all take place in the upstairs neighbour’s flat.

he has just told me me loves me more than any one he’s ever known .….….……not so demen­ted then:-)

heav­ens knows how i am going to hide enough food for the mul­ti­tude. ..ah well loaves and fishes.

the photo i have attached is of the awful state of ancient par­ents flat which is why burly men are needed.

AH BUT.……tomorrow i get a day off because my friend Mary and my friend Freda and i are meet­ing for cof­fee and cream cakes for the first time for 41 years, i won­der have we changed .….….….….…..
