getting there
It is done.….my lovely wooden floors are laid and a carpet in my bedroom. a team turned up at 10:30 a.m. and worked hard and cheerfully all day, Jonathan spent part of the time curled up on the sofa under a duvet among the chaos 
watching a video of Mr. Bean.
and i have got it all tidy , except for the books ‚i have to launch a dawn raid on Ikea with Marisa and get lots of bookcases. a couple of people from freeshare came in the middle of it all to take away some curtains and excess furniture. it is at last all coming together. soon i will have no excuse for not getting on with the paperwork that is hanging .…..not literally.….over my head.
JJ has gone to bed and i think i will go early too and read a bit of the final Harry Potter. tomorrow People are coming to replace my back door .….it has not fitted properly since the fire. and JJ’s Dad is coming up from London by aeroplane and his other grandma is delivering him to the airport tomorrow afternoon so he and his dad can fly straight back.
feeling tired and dusty but cheerful.
