displacemant activity of the day
So , where do I start.….….….….…I am watching the Wimbledon final on TV because Abigail and Esther are in the crowd. While doing that I am scanning hundreds of slides or her,
Abigail’s, childhood and putting them on a DVD.….….….….you can tell I have got a new gadget,
I love gadgets,I should not be allowed near shops,
I also got a clock that runs on water, and we have plenty of that in Scotland, mind you I was beginning to think it would never rain again, but today it is gale force wind and huge showers,
I had to top up the pond last week because there had been so little rain.
My tadpoles have four tiny legs and still a long tail…but they are very elusive. And the frog , well camouflaged, gave a disgruntled plop into the pond when I was spraying the plants round it with water.
only a week ago I was at the royal Highland show in Edinburgh, it seemed silly that I live less than an hour away and have never been, especially as son-in-law peter and grandson Cameron are there every year manning the Manatu ( earth moving equipment ) pavilion..Peter’s work mate fed me heart shaped chocolate biscuits.….….…I told him there is a waiting list
Have been enjoying the world cup..it is the only time I watch football, the games have been superb.….England players should stop being prima donnas and get on with it.
A policeman
turned up at last to inspect the damage to my window…not to catch perp.
But then a nice man from Everest came and mended it all quickly and efficiently, so I am happy.
Saw my niece in the crowd on TV while watching Glastonbury ….at least I think it was her.
This is displacement activity.…..I am supposed to be scanning some photos of a youth camp from 60 years ago for an old school friend of Basil’s I have been putting it off for 7 months…did actually manage to locate the pictures today and just worked out why it has taken me so long.……last time I scanned them it was for his surprise birthday party that he enjoyed so much 3 months before he died, when I had 80 years worth of photos playing on a loop in a computer.
Odd thing the human brain
