fiona’s unquiet life.

if you click on the word demolition and wait for ages you eventually get to see a video of it.

It is most definately not a quiet life anymore, not entirely sure what i am doing with my time.……but it is all used up.

i am in a state of high excitement having got tickets for the Neil Diamond gig at hampden on thursday.….….…..i photographed his ‘audience with’ show on stv and he is now my wallpaper.….….……and i saved the programme on my hard drive as wall, how’s that for being a daft fan, but as i have said before he has provided a soundtrack to my life since i was 13.

Cameron came for and afternoon’s photographing of street lamps.….…an asberger’s thing.….….and stayed three days. i think it was very brave of his parents to entrust me with his very rigid diabetic regime.…..i am still recovering from having to stick needles into him,it was bad enough doing it to a husband but doing it to a grandchild is awful.

did i mention the lady peering through the rhododendron’s, i invited her in it seemed better than being peered at.….….….….i am going to remove those bushes anyway as they are not indiginous to scotland and are takeing over the country.

I was sipping my morning tea yesterday when there was a huge cracking sound followed by a boom.….…..who is blowing us up now was my first thought, but as i could only hear one helecopter and no sirens i thought that the neighbours were getting very noisy, turned out they were blowing up a block of flats in the gorbals.….….….…..this was a hugly ugly thing they had put up in the 70s to improve the area.

my own home improvements have been less messy.….….i have huge storm doors which were never closed as they shut out all the light in the hall but the bit between them and the front door got messy and full of spiders do i have had the walls replastered and i have painted them and had four panels in the doors glazed so now they can be kept closed .…..it is amazing the difference it makes to the warmth of the hall and since there have been two of women in glasgow this week i am pleased to have another locked door between me and killer/s
one was in queens park where only the night before cameron and i had been photographing trees and ducklings.
no salsa last week as it was a bank holiday so we had a bbq in the back garden but Hammie who had just got back from salsaing in cuba was feeling
cold so we ate it in the kitchen.……salsa tonight though.
