I have not been idle

well not all of the time.

i have planted two potatoes.

where were we. ah yes. Glas­gow air­port has a nice new bit for col­lect­ing and drop­ping off people. under cover too and 15 minutes free stop­ping, excellent.and all because ter­ror­ists thought they could blow up Glaswe­gi­ans bent on going on holiday.

so i col­lect younger son in law who is up from chip­pen­ham for the funeral of his delight­ful uncle.….….….….….….we had a great blether start­ing with a long dis­cus­sion on whether one can go bey­ond infin­ity, remem­ber he is a sci­ent­ist, appar­ently one can if one is a math­em­atician. go bey­ond infin­ity that is. then we covered reli­gion and polit­ics and all the things people aren’t sup­posed to talk about in case of disagreements.

i had for­got­ten what fun selling things on eBay is, i am back to clear­ing the attic, things like the travel cot and the high chair now that the smal­lest grand­sons are in ‘big boy beds’.….….…somebody has just bid on the cot, yip­pee! ! .….…..but of course i have been buy­ing as well.….…..a CD by Jake Thack­eray, he made me laugh in the 80’s so i am hop­ing i still find him as funny.

and i put the soap holder up in the main shower hav­ing found it in the attic where it had been since i had the flat shower base put in for basil’s wheelchair.

I am now offi­cially a grown up hav­ing for the first time in my life employed a win­dow cleaner.….….…..i was wibble wob­bling about on top of a 6ft tall lad­der on tip toe try­ing to clean the very tall win­dows when i could feel him­self say­ing ” you’ll fall off and land on your new car” so i stopped clean­ing them there and then.….….…..i still do all the ones i can reach though.

got invited to a beer fest tonight.….glad i didn’t go , they ran out of beer and Ger­man saus­age before 8 p.m.
