That photo is called ” mak­ing the bed”.….i have been garden­ing again.my fin­ger­nails may never recover. and thank heav­ens for factor 40 sun screen , oh ” van­ity thy name is woman” i like the sun to shine hard on my hair as it gets blon­der but i hate the sun to shine on my skin as :-

A. i go a hor­rid red.

B. i burn.and

C . i would hate my skin to look the age it really is.……one of the great side effects of Basil being bed bound was that my skin has been undam­aged by any sun­light

but i was in my bikini today for a while, though smothered in the factor 40

today i also made up an Ikea fil­ing cab­inet out of approx 26 bit plus screws and things, it is a great ego boost and rather like doing a 3 dimen­sional puzzle .

My Dan­ish sister-in -law found my blog by acci­dent today…i won­der what she was look­ing up via google, i must ask her. she reminds me i am to go to Den­mark some­time soon.

i am one step nearer that and also one step nearer the great grand canyon trek.….i.e. i have got the European health insur­ance applic­a­tion form, and hav­ing said recently to a friend ” i hope the exchange rate is as good for dol­lars in Octo­ber as it is now ” he said with the utmost good sense “buy them now”.….…..sometimes i won­der where my brain is.…..mind you Basil told me of a patient of his (not by name)…who upon being given a bottle of medi­cine put it down and didn’t take any when asked why he said ” it says on the bottle take every four hours so i am wait­ing for the four hours”

tired tonight as him upstairs was clump­ing about at just after six am and i had stayed up late watch­ing ’ the dead poets soci­ety’ last night.……tomorrow i am chan­ging to a dif­fer­ent room, i meant to do it today but it was such a lovely day i worked outside.

and yes i pos­ted Judith’s present and card. a bit early but at least i know it has gone.
