last night dur­ing phone call with grand­son, his mother my older daugh­ter, comes on the phone and says ” Peter has just phoned to say? the man is com­ing to mend the fence on Thursday you need to get rid of the green­house before then.”? .….…it was just sit­ting in the corner of the garden col­lect­ing spiders.….….….….….so i instantly go onto free-share Glas­gow and offer a 6ft x 8ft foot­ball proof green­house to the first per­son who could dis­mantle it and take it away.….….. today when i got round, after? one cryptic one ordin­ary cross­word and a sudoku, to check­ing my emails there were 4 people want­ing it so i phoned the first? one and? arranged for him to come round for it, i went across to keep her com­pany while there was a stranger in her garden, not that there was a prob­lem he and his wife were delight­ful people, who took the thing apart in a dread­ful rain storm,loaded it in a trailer, had a mug of tea and took it away,phoning later to say they were home and dry? and to say thank-you. all very pleasing.

as it is Cameron’s birth­day in four days time i took him his birth­day gift part of which was this money mon­ster, it swal­lows? coins and paper money and burps and says all sorts of things it is very funny.

one boy went to some­thing un spellable that is an amal­gam of all sorts of self defence dis­cip­lines and the other went to drama class, while Mar­isa and i had a nice meal and a gossip.
