back in sunny glasgow
drove up yesterday, a good journey, bought a Marks and Spencer salad and a smoothie in a motorway shop and a cappuccino coffee from a vending machine and ate it outside in the sun somewhere up the M6.
?washing is done, spoken to everybody related to me, and have been giving a second coat of paint to the kitchen door before it gets hung.….……it took longer to put the masking tape on the 15 panes of glass than it did to paint it, i had put the undercoat on the night before driving down south and had to resist doing the second coat the morning i left.now i had better go and buy some food. the old door was horrid, it looks ok in this photo but it is a very insubstantial thing with old fashioned bathroom window glass in it, the one i have bought in B&Q almost matches some of the other doors in the house.
