blindingly obvious

I am not bright, in fact sometimes i think i am perfectly stupid.….….….…because the early light has been waking me up way too early, (i know i should go to bed earlier and use the daylight), anyway too early light was causing me trouble so i went to Ikea and bought some white opaque blinds and, wobbling about on my ladder I hung them yesterday, all was well but the light still got too me right in my eyes at 5 a.m. thought the gap between them and the window so I had a think and realised they were falling outside my translucent blinds that i use to keep me invisible to the outside world while i get dressed .…they are great i can see out perfectly.….….…so i decided to rehang the blinds to fall behind the translucent ones and thus closer to the window,up my ladder i go , unscrew all the screws and move them all around, then i thought, B****r ! I could have just loosened the screws and slipped the fittings out, then I though B****r ! i could have just slipped the fittings out of the blind and rehung them or even just wound them down and up the other way thus reversing the way they hang.
Maybe all the painting of the attic hatch, and the woodwork around it then the ceiling and walls as well because once you paint something you have to paint everything else because it looks shoddy…maybe the fumes in the paint have made me stupider than usual.……
No i am just stupid.
