quieter day
very tired today after all the gallivanting last week, all these long days out are a huge strain as i get more and more tense having been so used to having to be at home to keep Basil safe.
had asleep this afternoon then went for a long long walk at speed with Judy from next door. after which we had tea and very very sweet cake.
another 2 hour telephone talk with 13 year old Esther.….….…
she said “I am sitting on a step ladder”
i said you should get a real ladder not a step ladder”
she said it is a nice new step ladder, the old one was old and kept falling over…just like grandpa Basil ”
we went into hoots of laughter.….……he would have laughed too.
been playing with yesterdays photos and doing little else today.
oh yes i forgot . Ichecked on the upstairs fish again today one scared me by lying doggo on the bottom but i said “you can’t fool me . i know dead fish float” so it swam away.
and two light bulbs have blown at once and tripped the fuse, so the lights went out.….….but i have a luminous torch , one of the simplest but most useful inventions
