shrub lopping
The trees and shrubs have been advancing towards the house like Birnam woods toward Dunsinane in the Scottish play. So today i got my trusty (rusty) loppers and attacked them letting daylight hit bits of the lawn that have not seen the light of day for years, there is now no grass on it but i shall get some seeds and fix that. i eventually had to stop as the heap of lopped bits were hemming me in , i must deal with them before attacking the rest of it.Basil liked thick high hedges for privacy but i want the opposite and i think nosey neighbours are great and i want my front door visible from all angles, i am lucky to live in a street where people mind their own business but also keep an eye out for each other.….….….which reminds me the upstairs fish are fine but the bonsai tree looks a bit unhappy, i did warn him about my track record with some plants.
That is all today just phone calls from grandchildren and total inability to master this bl**dy sudoku in today’s telegraph
Just got my council tax bill.….…think i had better get a job.
