Well that was lively, .……Glasgow city councillors should know by now that the good people of the city don’t like people interfering with their ‘Dear Green Place’.….….….Glasgow is rightly proud of the fact that it is a city with a lot of open green space and thousands of trees.

The council, without asking any body, contacted ’ goape ‘and asked them to come into one of our parks, there was a very lively protest meeting tonight hundreds of people turned up a and even the car park was full of people. none of us had anything against ‘goape’, in fact we all liked what they had to offer but they hadn’t been given much choice of location.Pollok Park woods

i hope they do come to Glasgow i would love to have a go on their various climbs ..taking my grandchildren on with me , ga_montage2b_630x259.jpgwonderful excuse grandchildren are for doing all sorts of things that a dignified person would not do.

feeling more positive today having done a bit of gentle ‘kicking of ass’ of people who were not getting things done thus making me get no sleep.….….last night was the worst yet.

Yes Fiona, it was a lively night. I too think that Go Ape! is an excellent facility and with proper consultation could be an excellent addition to an area in or around Glasgow.

On a side note, I had an awful sleep too, much thrashing about. Perhaps it’s a side effect of the injustice brought upon us by our Council. Or maybe a lunar event.

Usually I sleep like a log.

    Hope all is well!
